Peter Charell and Chris Brown founded the heavy rock band called Trapt in the middle 90's. Simon Ormandy (guitar) entered the band's lineup in 1997. The same year the group opened for such popular rock bands like Spike 1000, Dredg, and Papa Roach. In 1998 Trapt recorded and released the full-length album entitled Amalgamation.
